Samco intercooler hoses, is there a benifit to them ?

 

yep they take more boost than the standard plastic ones

 

if you had rubber hoses as standerd, the same thickness they would take increased boost as well tho?

the only main reason people fit them is for the pretty colours IMO

i fitted mine for the colours, all this increased preasure lark wasnt a factor really, saying that, the intercooler Y piece is a doddle to remove and refit in samco compared with the standerd plastic offering

although my Y piece isnt cut properlly and can be a bitch to get on

 

Maybe less likely to leak or collapse, and look nice.
