I saw an MR2 show car at the recent Jap Show that had aluminium sheet flooring, and have been thinking about getting it done.

Anyone got any ideas where I might get this done? Hopefully locally and preferably not too expensive!

I take it you mean chequer plate? Gossy & I found some at an ironmonger in Hackney Road, London - £53 m2 Not cheap but would look the nads

That would be the stuff, aluminium (Not Sheffield steel!) chequer plating. Get the feeling it will be easier to get hold of the stuff than someone to fit it to a good standard.

Also had the feeling it wouldn't be cheap to do the job properly

Only mod so far is an alloy tax disk holder. Decided it was time to do something a bit bigger!
