Default paint spray advice please

Hi

Just got rear spoiler raisers from tsl or my04 wrx, halfords have this match any car spray paint, they take the colour code from the vim plate.

this worked out great as mine is black graphite, although it looks like a copper or gold fleck, the halfords spray ia a very good match, apparently its profeshionel spray ? it also has a unusual fan spray head its probabbly not as good as original paint though,

any way, i have primered the fibre glass spoiler raisers x 2 coats, and have now done 4 x light colour coatings, my question is ,.............. do i need to laquer them as well ? the so called profeshional halfords paint spray doesnt mention anything about laquer

any ideas ?

Hi ,
You should be able to get that info from subaru website, if it is metallic paint i think it will need laquered.

I was thinking of buying the risers and doing this, does the paint come in a aerosol can from halfords?.

Cheers

Yes you must laquer it to make the painted surface last...
