Default Scoobie Newbie

Hi Folks
Just bought my first scooby last saturday, i think the smile will have to be surgically removed ive been wandering around around like a happy clapper the last five days.
Was refered to yourselves by the father of a i white who was in my office the other day who said some of you meet at the grasshopper in westerham could anyone give me further details as i would love to meet up.
Also the dealer whom i bought the car from advised only run the car on optimax and use octane booster is this really necessary.

cheers medears
Chris

Yep, good advice: Japanese cars were designed to run on 100 RON. Optimax is 98. Welcome to Scoobydom! :-) You could always have the car re-mapped to run on just optimax though!

Enjoy!

Best

I agree with the Croydon comments. Luckily I live right on the outskirts!

Is there a meet at the Grasshopper then?

CAW- It's not always so much a case of where you get your car re-mapped as who does it. I'd check on this site for reccomendations. There are three names that keep cropping up, but I'll let those with actual experience of their work make the suggestions :-)

Best.
