Has anyone regretted putting graphics on their scoob
I am seriously considering altering the looks of my type- R to create a replica of a works rally car. not the 555/ subaru stickers but something a bit different.
there must be some downsides to this - unwanted attention etc. Its not that I want to stick on the crowd. Its just that I am real rally enthusiast and would really like to create a replica of the "Q8" or "spike subaru" WRC car.
Has anyone really regretted doing this sort of thing?

You should bake the cake before you put the icing on.

car is already fitted with 6 point cage and coilovers.

I'm just in the throws of gettin mine done - I have a Mica Red Classic and fancy some graphics. I have a sort of home made design that incorporates the 555 design and like you I am doing it cos I am a bit of a Rally Nut
I will no doubt run with them for a year or 2 and then remove them and give the car a good polish to take out any residual marks.

May take them off in time but for now... i think it looks ace!
Spoke to the insurance first... no charge but they won't pay for replacment if they get damaged...

I did manage to think of a massive downside --
lets say you were involved in a bit of Road rage or acted like **** in some traffic situation - you end up feeling like a marked man whenever you drove such a distinctive car

Oi, Dazza ! Your graphics are wrong. I know for a fact that you aren't using Motul oil, and I don't recall you having Pirelli tyres either
Looks though

They should be reducing your premuim, imagine the call going out on the police radio:
"All units, be on the lookout for an Impreza, blue with flourescent yellow swooshes all over it and Kin Qwik written on the rear windows"
Thieving scum wouldn't make it to the end of the road
