HAs anyone seen or driven the above as yet. Got test drive arranged for next saturday, although dealers had no pictures or brochures as yet, any info greatly appreciated.

Cheers

No, I'm in the same boat. I'd be interested to see what you think and what sort of deal they offer you.

Cheers

The center consol controls have changed and are now in line with the foresters, A-DCCD is standard, there is a different suspension and geometry setup, the geometry is taken from the Spec C so its slightly longer, this is to remove the understeer that previous models had. I also believe that the MY05 STi's come with Bridgestone RE070's, ill warn you now, when these are new and if its wet, you may just s**t yourself as they are quite scary!! but once rubbed in a little they are better in the wet and excellent in the dry

Pictures of the 2005 Japanese model - I think the UK car looks the same.

I'd echo Tony's comments on the RE070; I managed to get the car a bit sideways on the test drive (oops!), but it wasn't so much scary as just unexpected - my MY00 certainly never responded in the same way. I may look at swapping them for F1 GSD3's or ZZ3's come pit stop time.
