had a good rummage and all I can find out is:

1996 saloon manual 260bhp
1996 wagon auto 220bhp

can't find anything for auto saloons.

anyone?

This is the spec for a November '93 onwards automatic saloon. The power figures are similar to a 'Wagon, from this Id conclude that it has a TD04 turbo and not a TD05; notice that the torque figures peak at 3500 Rpm not 5000 Rpm... definately a 'Wagon spec engine.
