£1.55 for a Service Stamp!!!!!
Whilst phoning round for a price of a 10000 mile service for the WRX, one dealer had the neck to say I had to pay for Two stamps for the body service section in the service booklet. Now I know its an insignificant amount of money but this is taking the P**s. It brought the total to £116 for body plus the cost of the mechanical service £155. Rather a lot I thought.
Quick call to the dealer I bought the car from £160 for the service and £58 for body. Now a happy bunny.
Has anybody else come across paying for a stamp before.

had to pay for "filling the washer" bottle before now. when i had checked it was full before taking the car in! also the £3-£4 consumables or whatever they call it for a touch of grease on the door pins.

Yep - I had to pay for my stamps too - a TOTAL joke - I assume to cover postage of the certificate to IM.
How many other manufacturers offer only a 6 year body warranty and STILL insist on body work services. Good and useful as they are - if they are done properly in the factory it should not be an issue.
Mmmmmmmmm

I totally agree. Its seems strange that in this day you need the body service at all. The Audi I previously owned had a 10 year anti perforation warranty with none of this Body service carry on.

Ford, Fiat, Renualt, Vauxhall, Nissan, Toyota, Peugot, Citroen etc all have 10 or 12 year warranties with no need for the body service!!!
