Cool OFFICIAL SUBARU SERVICING BY STANDING ORDER

From Oct 1st all new or nearly new scoobs can benefit from fixed monthly rate servicing (inc STI and presumably PPP) - however for some reason they exclude all cars that have already had first major service (howis that defined by way of time and mileage?) - see Petrolheads for more info

Working this out on a wrx @ 12k a year, in 3 years you will need:-

year 1 - 1k service = £55
year 1 - 10k = £160
total miles 12k
total service cost = £ £215
direct debit fixed cost = £276

year 2 - 20k = £160
total miles 24k
total service cost = £160
direct debit fixed cost = £276

year 3 - 30k = £410
total miles 36k
total service cost = £410
direct debit fixed cost = £276

total service cost over 3 years = £785
direct debit fixed cost over 3 years = £828

Great idea, for subaru!!! You would be better off sticking it on your credit card!!!!

assuming calculations are correct - then it is just more marketing hype / spin to try and get us to by cars at inflated UK prices.......
