As my name suggests, a VW Corrado for nine years and I've still got it

Drove a Scooby in anger on a track at Rallydrive with the G/F for her birthday treat. Took over 6 years of job swapping, house buying and sheer determination but I got one in the end. Mightn't have it long though, if I can't meet the payments on the new house

Had a nice low mileage '97 318iS coupe beemer, but it seemed too slow after my moded 309 and I'd always fancied a Scoob, when they changed from Bug to Blob eye the Mrs prefered the look also, plus the salesman at my local Mitsi dealer was an @r5e

I had a Mitsubishi Delica 2800 4 Wheel Drive Turbo Diesel Intercooler Space Gear Super Exceed. Had to get rid of it because the name was too long and people would fall asleep whilst waiting for me to finish telling them what it was.
It was a monster, 7 feet tall and on big wheels, turned as many heads as a Scoob!!

I originally had a 2.5V6 Ghia Mondeo Modified to just over 300bhp and a fair bit of trque to match LOL then decided that going round corners was cool too and decided on a 1995 M Reg Impreza WRX. Then sold that to my mate who loves it to bits aand I bought a Type R. Funny thing is I still love the WRX better than the Type R LOL

Mr2 turbo. To be honest I didn't even like scoobs, but had to test drive one just to see what the hype was about, and bought one it just had to be the rb5 though.

The first car I purchased by myself was a 1 year old scoob.

Saw one outside dealers once :jawdrop: and wow. Then saw one at 98/99 motorshow and I thought to myself "God how I would love to own that car"...a couple of years later after mucho hard work I found myself in the position where I could buy a sub £50k car. I had a look around and there was no competition.....it could only be the scoob as my reliable daily driver. The first on I went to see was a lovely example. Its caring owner took me for a drive and I was gobsmacked. I handed the cash over without even sitting in the drivers seat.

Been robbed blind by insurance premiums (Yr1 £3500, yr2 £2400 etc), lined the pockets of Shell, been held up at gunpoint....but never looked back.

My loyal companion never fails to make me smile.
