Anyone a defi expert ??
I've bought some secondhand defi's and was wondering if anyone was an expert as I'm missing some connections and not exactly sure what i should have.
Any advice / help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

You need the following to make them work, in this example its a boost gauge
1). the boost gauge
2). a boost sender module (small bit of cube shape plastic into which your boost capilery goes from the source, this then has a cable attached which runs up to the control unit
3). control unit, to which all sender units connect
4). daisy chain data cable, this is a universal cable which goes from the control unit to the gauge
extra gauges are added to the system by adding extra senders to the system to supply the data, this is then displayed using additional gauges which are attached to the system by daisy chaining them from the first gauge using the supplier cable.
The controller unit is a seperate peice of hardware and unless they've supplied it you wont get anything working.
Me Julie, hows the Fiesta?

Thanks very much for the offer Gossy ( and the help above ) but I plugged all the pieces into the control box and spoke to scoobymania who told me what I was missing and were able to supply it all from stock. Now thats a service you don't get very often.
The gauges are already connected to each other and I had the boost box and the power cable so just needed Oil temp fitting kit. Water temp sensor, and some boost pipe and a T piece from Halfords. Then I had to buy a Scoobymania Pod
Mantal note to anyone " there is no such thing as a budget Defi set-up "
