I've got a Janspeed/Scoobysport d/pipe on my MY00, which may be the same thing....I fitted this at the same time as porting the headers and fitting an uppipe from the same manufacturer. I wrapped both new parts and, since fitting, I reckon the car's now quieter than standard. Noticeably better spool-up, as you'd expect. Hope this is relevant to your model.
