Default Forester Turbo S

Since my last post on the Forester have been steered towards the turbo S and have found this at Subaru MK, 01 Y plate, 50k, 1 owner, Mica black, Suede interior for £10k.

But the local car supermarket have a mint 02 sport, 11K miles, UK car, for £10.3k

Any views on what will be easier to sell in 18 months time with abother 18K miles on the clock ? Or what the servicing costs are going to be on the turbo S versus the sport

Decisions, decisions...

The turbo will be higher maintainance and have a higher runnuing cost, but will be more enjoyable/rewarding to own.

Not sure on how easy it will be to sell or how much it will depreciate, but I would imagine that the turbo will be the better one due to higher demand than an N/A.

Have you looked in the classified forum?
gavnick has an imported forrester turbo T reg for under £9000.
This car is immaculate, higher spec than a uk,better looking, and probably as fast as some impreza turbos, even though its an auto.
Deffinately worth considering if your mind is set on a forrester.

Don't be, they're no hassle. Tesco's, Direct Line, L&V for insurance ( about 20% less than a uk impreza ) , service at specialist or a main dealer (if you ask quietly & nicely) and the imports are +60bhp over the UK models out of the box....

Thanks dij - indeed my Forester is still for sale.

No problem to insure, Tesco's were happy to do it and about 50% of the cost of a UK Impreza.
