HKS BOV SOUND
HI GUYS
I HAVE FITTED A HKS SSQ BOV TO MY95 WRX AND WHEN I ACCELARATE HARD AND CHANGE GEAR I GET A LOUD WHISTLE SOUND I HAVE HAD A PLAY WITH THE SCREW IN THE BACK AND CANT SEE MUCH DIFFERENCE IN NOISE
DOES ANYONE HAVE THIS BOV ON THEIR CAR AND HOW DOES IT SOUND? IS IT MORE OF A WHISTLE OR A DEEP TONE AS YOU CHANGE?
THANKS IN ADVANCE

I asked about the adjustment screw (before I touched it lol) and got a great reply from BOB'5 (plus it's apparently optimally adjusted for the car when new)

At high revs mine sounds like a lorry's air brakes, with the noise getting softer and much less aggressive at lower loads. I believe you can buy inserts for a different sound - that's also been discussed a few times in other threads....
