Default Fitted Mudflaps - then ripped one off!

Bought a nice set of STi mudflaps from a nice guy on here.

Spent a while fitting them, getting everything just right then decided to fix my rear fog light. Had to pop to Halfrauds for something and got blocked in, had to reverse up a kerb to get out.

One of the damn rear mudflaps got caught between the kerb and the wheel and was ripped clean off - made a damn mess of everything.

Well fed up - went home and got well Oliver Twist, but next day managed to salvage it and now everything looks great again - anyone else done anything like that? I can't explain how great I felt when they were fitted, and how utterly depressed when it was ripped of lol.

Still, looks great again and a valuable lesson learned - hopefully.......

Serves you right - you should always drive into a parking space

Bad luck mate. How did you fix them?
I find it easier reversing into a parking space

I've done it with one of the standard scoob ones, doing some stupid rushed turn in the road and clobbered the git.
