hi and welcome
Yes, 98s moreso, but get it checked, as quite a few had it sorted under warrantee (plus, if it's lasted this long, you might be OK)

Hope this helps,

Dan

Cool

Hi M8

What a great version of the car that the terzo is, as i have one myself. Yes they do suffer from piston slap but from what i have been able to assertain is that most were picked up early by the first owners and sorted out under warranty, if the owner that you are buying the car from has all the paper work you should be able to tell from that. If it's through a subaru dealer they shold be able to tell you as the cars vin number would have been recorded for the warranty issue's. Hope this helps if you need more info check out the terzo owners page. www.terzo.co.uk
Cheers
Chris

YES THEY DO!!!!

Fortunately ours was detected BEFORE it went bang but it did cost close on £4K to have the engine rebuilt June 03, no problems since runs like a dream.

Best car we have ever had, alas now For Sale to make way for a Kawasaki ZX-10R
