Police Scoobys.
Humberside police hav just commisioned 3 sti8's 2 white ones to be marked up and a black one for undercover work. these cars are going to prodrive for PPP and sump guards etc.
With a bit of luck these should catch some ******* in the area.
Do other forces use scoobs or r humberside out on there own?

Other forces do use Scoobs. I cannot remember where I have seen them all, but there used to be a red undercover one in Nottingham. Not sure if it is still in use now.

Yuk - prospect of being "done" by a Scoob .....
I remember when various police forces (mostly the Met) bought a load of Golf VR6's (when I had one myself) - it was an eerie sight to see them flying around!
The "agencies" Phil refers too mostly seem to use Black Range Rovers and BMW 5 series around here. I had a convoy of them fly past me at about 120mph late one evening last week on the M4 .........

always have liked white cars, they always look "fresh" and yours looks tops phil.
humberside had 2 classics back in 98-00 they lookd really well. i tried to buy them when they went through auction. someone actually did make a diecast model of it

Hey, I hope this info about an undercover police black sccoob STi gets widely known in Humberside.

Humberside police had a couple of escort cossies a few years back... they had been rally prept with sump guards and the lot... This was to chase scumbags over field and across curbs... Very effective too... it was featured in car wars on ITV i think...
