Hello
I had the same feeling as you m8 and have just taken delivery of car back from API after blown engine.... Although it was 'orrible to be without my car It was well worth the wait.. As you said probably the most I have looked forward to anything really... But don't let the missus know that
Rob
David, Engine sounds so sweet... Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou!!!

Even though I'm not taking it above 4K and am only using light throttle it just seems so responsive and the boost picks up very early, Must be combination of Porting headers/up-pipe and that new Scoobysport complete system!!! oh yeh, and engine rebuild!! When I got home and the lads came round to have a listen, they thought it was fairly raspy on pull off, bit like a ford escort to say, but done 300miles allready
and its sounding much better allready, Love the tick over grumble. it has really brought out the flat 4 burble and getting close to 4K rpm you can just feel it wanting to start howling... Roll on running in period eh!!Engine ticks over 900RPM very smoothly and albiet this engine needs running in the whole package just feels so much more frisky than before the rebuild etc.....
David whats chance of doing that 1000 mile service next saturday as I will be using the Subaru for work next week as van is awaiting a steering rack, I am mobile engineer so 700 more miles or so will be easily done within this week
Rob
Oh, yeh... Must say.... Had a few pops and bangs from exhaust system allready.. First one nearly made me s##t meself, the next few smile and laugh... a lot... Just what the doctor ordered!!!!
