Saw this recently:
The man behind the McLaren F1 road car and the Jaguar XJR15 is to help shape future Rovers.
Peter Stevens has been appointed product design director of the Phoenix-led Rover Group. He will be responsible for developing the next generation of cars – which is set to include a new MG range. He previously worked at Italian supercar maker Lamborghini but is a Rover enthusiast, owning a number of MGs.
Sorry to note they don't mention the Subaru WRC, 22B and bits of the P1 amongst his credentials.
