This isn't exactly brand new news, but having spoken to a few people recently I found it isn't really a well known fact that Prodrive now market an 'official' replacement back box, which you can buy without having to get the whole PPP.
This is from Prodrives website :

A new rear silencer with "E" marking (to allow fitment throughout Europe) has been developed to fit all Impreza Turbo models. Featuring the WR Sport branding on a distinctive oval tailpipe, this silencer will add to the familiar offbeat boxer sound without creating intrusive noise levels.

I haven't heard one in the flesh yet, but I'm sure it'll sound good, and suits those of you who are warranty nervous like myself .

350 quid was being mentioned a while back, but i am not sure if thats the final price.
