Importing
Well after deciding to sell my beloved Scoob to go for something cheaper, that just went completely out the window after looking at Car-ex Japans website.
These are agents that have a number of different cars forsale for the price of chips.
Would it be better to buy direct from japan through this company or may be goto Southampton port and buy from the auctions.
Anybody have any dealings with this company, if so what are they like.

Before you buy any car direct from Japan, make sure there's a Model Report available for it and that it'll pass ESVA. One or two people have fallen foul of this recent change in the law and ended up with cars that they can't register - don't let yourself be next.
A reputable importer will be able to sort out buying the car, duty/VAT, ESVA, registration and security for you - I'd go this route without a doubt.
