C service cost - sound about right?
In need of a C service (2 yrs/30k on the 7.5k schedule) on my 01 bug, main dealers local to me quoting £530, that sound about right?
Covers plugs, air & fuel filter, engine, trannie/diff oil, coolant change, brake fluid change.

I've been quoted around £450 for my 30K service (MY 03 STI) if that's any help, shop around, I've just have my 20K done today and found a £60 differnce in price

Well even if the service took 6 hours and i doubt that (at say 55 per hour) that equates to 330 quid labour, 40 quid for engine oil, 20 quid for coolant, 20 quid for diff oil 20 quid for gearbox oil, 40 quid for spark plugs... thats still 470 quid, i paid under 400 quid for this service only 2 years ago at a main dealer, me thinks you should go looking elsewhere!! (and im overpricing parts here! filters cost next to nothing!!)
Tony
PS I shall quickly point out that my 3 year service cost me 400 quid WITH a cambelt change! not quite as envolving but....
