Just had a look at it on Ebay. Its a bit stragne saying its a 22b replica!
I would be impressed if it was a 2 door made to look EXACTLY like a 22b. But, its plain to see that this is a max flower mess. And those lights at the back, wtf is the pig about?

Not to everyones tastes, but I'd like the arches please
Wonder how its been done, looks like the rear door is even arched to match the wings...
Last time I was at TSL, they were working on prototype front wings to give a 22b look to the 'normal' car, but I don't think it'd need a new front bumper... and the rear was 'mitsi'esque, with a small add on 'arch bulge' rather than a new rear wing / door...
I don't think it looks too bad - rear lights aside - And they're always a sticky point...
Personally, I think an integrated fog light would've been a better spend,

Just had a quick glance at the ebay stuff - its a v5, surely its a 98 then (which is also what it claims to be....)
Wonder why his lass went with him for the photos if she didn't want to be on them (see 'seating' shot) - and did she purposely wear a skirt that matches the seat inserts.....

This is your chance to bid on a Subaru impreza sti v5 (22b replica), it is the only 22b replica in the uk which was factory produced
Most odd at that, personally I just about like it.

The thing that amazes me, is the amount of folk on this forum who slate Sport owners for sticking Turbo bonnets etc on their motors, yet the compliments are free flowing for this pig.

Personally it doesnt quite suit a four door, a 2 door yes
but then why bother with a wide arch kit, just buy a WRC chassis, and reshell
Come to think of it, buy a 22b

This guy is from Dundee area..
He bought it like this from a Scoobynet member at the beginning of the year IIRC.
The Pig is relevant up here because the Crail 1/4 Mile is hosted/owned by a guy who used to be a Pig Farmer......... He now hands out stickers of Pigs Heads for people to put on their cars.
Also he only just fitted those lexus lights, I managed to get his original STi lights for 60quid... So I think he DEFO made the right choice putting lexus lights on it!! hehe
Its got a claimed 342bhp. I see it driving about, and it actually looks damn nice!!
Cheers,
Grant

......forgot to add that he had a Lotus Elise before this car, and he's getting rid so he can get a Porsche Boxster.
Apparenly he doesnt hold onto cars for long. He's a DJ on one of the the local radio stations, which explains the plate.
Cheers,
Grant

If it wasn't described as a 22b replica, and had loads of bits stuck on, I don't think it would be quite so shocking.
The rear lights and massive array of gauges aren't to my taste, but that's my problem not his.
At £10k it doesn't sound dear for an STi5- you could take all the halfords stuff off and sell it (plenty of chavs would rip your arm off for it) and just be left with slightly 'different' car, but I'm sure many will like it the way it is
