New Japanese STI
Has anyone read the driven article in EVO mag on the japanese STI. Looks very impressive - principally a better breathing standard STI with Spec C suspension settings along with a trick diff. Costs £15750 in japan, and the article hints that this set up may head its way over to the UK.
I would certainly buy this latest spec STI if it made it to the UK, and it does somewhat put me off upgrading my WRX in order to save the money for a more superior Impreza.
Anyone else read it?
Regards,
Roger

Unfortunately i doubt very much if we here in europe will see anything like this mechanically, the closest you will get is the same body shell and interior.

PS, this is a hint to get a JDM car you wont be disappointed

out of curiosity, what are the rules for importing a car you own in japan, over to the UK? My wife is Japanese, so could she buy it in Japan, registered to her home address over there, then bring it over and avoid VAT?
I know a colleague at work from Finland did something similar to avoid Finnish tax.
