I trust the little **** will be adequately disciplined such that they never even think of doing that again?

One consolation is at least it wasn`t some jealous **** doing it out of spite where the scenario there would be getting a spanking new respray for them to do it all over again. (how did a four year old reach the roof?)

Explains why the roof wasn't scratched

And why wasn't he under supervision? left out to play on the front of a house with no one watching

Ok, a four year old should know right from wrong
To go around someones car and scratch all the panels hardly seems like a naughty prank.
At that age they are not fully responsible for there actions, but their parents should be

Its gone way beyond the naughty little boy, i will tell him off and he wont do it again point.

Producing a child is the easy bit.

Its the next .... years thats the hard bit

yep, so whatever the little s*d has done, reaching for a "scum breeds scum" explanation is the product of an ignorant or bigotted view. Yep, I've got 3 past the 4 year old stage. At 4 do they know right from wrong?, to some degree maybe. But if something is fun that all goes out the window.

Yep, by all means shout at the parents, get them to pay for the damage, but hey, scum breeds scum? Nah.

too right - regardless of whether you were going to respray or not they should pay for all the damage the kid has caused - if that means a whole respray then i guess you would be needing to do it yourself

Slight difference here mart.your KIDS DID YOUR DAMAGE.If my kids scratched mine I would be able to tell them off,so they understood. This man has had his done by SOMone ELSES kids,he cant say a thing to them, thats the difference.I would be livid if this was my car scratched by someone elses devil child.
I dont think you would treat it so blase if it were your car!!!!!!!!!

It doesn't matter whether or not the kid did it on purpose, the fact of the matter is that he did do it and that his parents are responsible for his actions.

Don't be ridiculous - of course it does. Parents attitudes and beliefs are passed on. You must be a Chav.

Time and time again on the news we see kids between 8 - 14 who have terrorised their neighbourhoods with anti social behaviour.
Then their mother comes out of the court mouthing off at the television cameras

You`ll soon find out the answer to the `scum breeds scum` debate when he`s had a word about the respray. It`ll either be, "Of coarse we`ll pay, and he`s had a good ticking off too". Or "**** you, you try proving it".

Pavlo ,er yes I have two kids 5 and 7,so about the age of this boy who has done the damage.Did you think I made it up ?
I dont join a debate unqualified and try to pretend I have the answers.
My children are no angels but they would never do something like this because they have been brought up to have respect from a very early age, from parents who respect others property.
So what is missing is the respect from the vandals parents initially, which WILL rub off on the kid in question, hence a 4 year old thought nothing of doing the damage.
Have you ever suffered any vandalism Pavlo?
It may change your opinion of this sweet little boy ,who FORGOT!!!!!!
