Jacking up a WRX03
Hi,
My cars getting some new rubber tomorrow and long overdue I must add. I guess they'll be using a trolley jack to lift my motor but I hope they are'nt gonna use my sills or else I'll be suggesting they use my manual one.
Does anyone know the safest places to locate a troller jack front and rear on a scoob or year 2003?
Comments appreciated.
Frank

Other than that you can jack up the front on the plate behind the engine and the rear diff with a bit of wood to spread the load over the casting.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Well, I got my tyres fitted today and observed carefully where the mechanic stuffed his jack. Thankfully he avoided the sill areas but used a curved strut bar that runs behind the wheel disappearing behind the sill. Seemed pretty stable... hopefully no harm done
