Service book - what do you JDM guys do?
I have been trying unsuccessfully to get a service book for my import 01 WRX. Spoke to Subaru in Cyprus a few times now, nice people, but they are just not willing to provide one. Damm frustrating as I know I could get one if the car has come through any other EU country even Malta.
Anyway, just wondered what owners of JDM imprezas use if they want to start a UK history? is there any such thing as a generic service book? or don't people bother and just keep service receipts? appreciate any advice or suggestions!

Just always keep the original invoices etc.
I'd much rather see a complete set of invoices over a service book any day, it's very easy to get a stamp made up to do the book yourself.

WOW.. just had a response to my lenghtly e-mail to Cyprus (I mentioned that Malta, UK and Holland had no problem getting replacement books) and they will now sort me a new service book and even send me a handbook if I wish!! I just need to fax my V5 over.
Luckily I have the service invoices for the car since new so I can hopefully get my new book stamped up - job done - paperwork present and correct!

always keep invoices that have the mileage etc on them, as was said previously a much more reliable service record than a stamped book IMHO.
Obviously it would be nice to have both
