my maf on my MY99 imp turbo has been knackered for a while now - and since the part costs 400 quid from subaru kenya, i decided to wait it out for a friend to get it for me from the states. well anyway i found a cheap one in kenya from an independant parts dealer, so i replaced it. but i got the US part today and it seems identical to the uk part. it is for the USDM MY99 impreza 2.5rs. the only difference is the part number US p/number is 22794AA000 while the uk part number is 22794AA010 but the parts look IDENTICAL. also, the failing maf was a recall item in the US, so its probably better and tougher than the uk part. i havent tried the part yet (coz i bought a uk part before the us part arrived) but im sure i will need to soon when the maf fails again for the 4th time. and the best part is it cost 45 dollars (25 quid) plus delivery from subaruparts.com . i dont think they do international deliveries but its probably worth getting a couple if someone u know is comin from the states.
