Anyone got a mat black Scoob?
If not, what`s your opinions on the idea? Seen some pics of Denmarks (alleged) best looking car in mat/eggshell black. Not too keen on the car but the colour looks good.

Not me, but I have a customer (come on Rob own up) who has re-painted him Scooby in mat black.
Despite all the grief at work regarding T-cut etc, I think the car actually looks pretty cool.

Love to see pics if there are any as I fancy doing this pretty much as soon as I decided which one I`m getting. Not sure about a Wagon in it though.

There was a matt black classic at the last meet in Southend, Essex.
Can't help you with who's car it is but it might be worth asking the qusetion in the Events - Southern forum.

It's an extreme thing to do unless the car your doing it too is a second car or show car. You should take out shares in spirit wipes due to the quantity you will go through to clean off the greasy finger prints and when you fill up with petrol for gods sake dont spill it on the paintwork.
Matt and even satin paint finnishes are not really a good idea on a car you will use regularly especially on an everyday car.

Was thinking of doing it in twin pack with a matting agent in it so petrol wouldn`t affect it. Not really too extreme as if you got fed up, a flat down, mask up and laquer would see it in a nice deep gloss black. Versatility!?

When I was designing speed cameras (just finished uni and was gagging for a job) we tested the cameras (laser type) and they did not work on matt black cars and some black cars.

That was me at southend with a matt black classic.
It's not to everyones taste but I love it, makes a change from the usual blue like every other impeza.
I'll take a couple of shots and put the pics in the gallery when I can get hold of a decent digital camera.
If you want to see it in the flesh i'm in Chelmsford.
