Nope.
ive got a Subaru sunstrip on. Its on the outside of windscreen.White etc. It comes down about 6 in (MAX)from top of screen. The guy got the book out and because the wipers went over it when in use it failed ,because it was in the sweep of the blades. WTF.
So had an idea. Came home. Took the ones of wifes Ford KA and stuck them on the scoob.. Smaller blades so when operated didn,t touch Sunstrip. Took it back, bingo . Got a Result

Hehe... nice way to work the system
That's almost as trivial a fail as I had on my Westfield last year. It failed because the indicator on the dash for the fog lamp doesn't go out when the fog lamp is turned off. WTF?! Who ever drives a Westy in thick fog, AND uses the fog lamp, AND can't tell by looking at the illuminated switch whether it's on or not?!

As said below it doest matter if strip is inside or outside.Mine was gonna fail but he offered me the chance to take it of.It was only a light smoke strip installed by my window tinter

I had as similar discussion on my old car with the sunstrip, but after the mot guy read his book, it says that as long as from inside the car ,it isnt below the interior sun visor when its in its down position its ok

if my memory serves me correctly,, and any mot bod can correct me...
the requirement is that any sun visor / strip must not protrude more than 10 cm from the top of the screen... or the max being the tips of the wipers....
re your internal sun strip.... try fitting one to a saab 900 turbo!!!!!!
feckin impossible without major cutting
Mart

Had to take the sun stip off our BMW track car to get through the MoT £7 for new 'strip vs £12 for cheap wipers..... Thing is though the 'srip on my Scoob's fine - but it was a different MoT stn.....
