Default Wheels from USA

Guy's

I'm thinking of buying some new alloys from America and just wondered if anybody has done the same before, if so have you had any prob's doing it this way.

Also do you know of any good sites. I have found some already priced around £550 inc Vat, for some like Team dynamics Pro race 1 wheels.

Cheers.

VAT at 17.5%, you add 10% for duty on top of total price including Shipping costs.

Ex.

Wheels $840
Shipping $212
Total $1052

Convert that to pounds £572.66

Add 10% for Duty

Total then £629.96

Add 17.5% for VAT

Total price £740.

I think that how its worked out.

Take a look at Subydude.com in the states, they have 'Rota' wheels, which seem to be a nice copy of the Prodrive styles in a multitude of colours and finishes. I got costs on a set of $650 wheels which came out at more like £700 odd landed in the UK, or you can order through 'Rare-rims.com' at between £450 - £500 inc nuts. They order a shipment of various colours and styles from the US every 4 weeks or so. I can't vouch for the quality though as mine have not arrived yet.
