Hi,

I put Shell coolant in my car - available from any shell petrol station
Bought 2 ltrs, and filled the rest of the system with boiled water.

I would imagine that whatever Halfrauds sell will be the cheapest cr@p they can get their hands on!

is the subaru coolant a special kind so it does not attack the metal. is this shell stuff safe to use on a scoob?

just need to ask as i am going to have a go at replacing the radiator myself. not shure if this is easy or not. anyone done this before?? any tips??

cheers

Shell coolant will be fine.

The rad is one of the easiest things to change on a scooby!
Just make sure you don't overtighten the hose clips when you put it all back together!

My local main agents reccomended Shell glycol anti freeze.

Only thing to watch out when changing a rad is the plastic pipe ends on the rad can break,so do be carefull with them.
