immposible to tell really, SQM times are so hard to put into figure, you may be a very good driver and got the best possible time out of your car by running it in perfect conditions, you may also be a very bad driver who got a bad start and was racing in cr@p conditions and got a porr time. going from this different drivers may only have achieved a 13.1 second time and others could have made it do a 12.4 second time. see the difference, theres no real way of telling tbh

get it on the rollers

my output on a warm day at Powerstation earlier this year was 295.5bhp/262lbft @ 1.25bar boost. my quickest 1/4 (last run - no.9) was 13.42/100mph at the shootout with what was my second best 60ft time. i had 3/4 tank of fuel subwoofer and box, amp and CD changer in the boot plus 2 full tool boxes in the car at the time.

my best time was against that lairy Scirocco - we were neck and neck from start to finish and i pipped him by 7 hundreths. he said he estimated my car to be around the 300hp mark based on our run.

so depending on where you get your car roaded i would guess it would be around the 300 horse mark.

from what you have said app. 300bhp and a 13.42 1/4 mile time i would hope i have more than 300 as my best time was 12.7 quite a bit faster than yours

but then i did ask so you have only givern your opinion

remember i was carrying additional weight (i.e not far off full tank from the start, tool boxes, ice etc.) i reckon with near empty tank and the ice removed and no tool boxes i could get under 13 sec.

plus i went for 4th at the last second in my quickest run. i know it'll do it in third @ 8K rpm, just don't know which is more detrimental - an extra gear change or the reduced rate of acceleration between 7500 and 8K rpm.

i'd be very interested to see what figures yours does RR @.

before i had a bigger turbo a uppipe a walbro pump and a tech3 i had 285 at the rollers on a warm day last year and i ran a 13.4 102 at the pod

also i had at least 1/2 a tank of fuel when i did the 12.7

also i have a uk turbo so you have to change up to 4th at app. 95mph

so it looks like i will have to shut my mouth and get on some rollers

its difficult to tell until you 'road' it. but i would still guess you had a fair bit more than 285 horses now!

There's so many variables on this theme
I did a best 13.2 and 106mph 1/4 at the pod and mine was 295BHP on the rollers at that time

What was your 1/4 time then Steve

If I do loose I dont want to look in the mirror !!!! .Seriously though your are probably better not to risk it as 4th syncro did not sound so good on sat and its one of those things that may get worse ..
