NBO2 opened my eyes to how many people are actually Subaru enthusiasts
And there wernt actually as many as i thought
It does look like the Impreza is becoming just another sports car/boy racers runabout
But the few who did actually know what my car was were the few true Subaru die hards (even my mate noticed this and he's not into Scoobs )
All in all though, it was a good day out but i was a little put off by those people revving their engines just to hear their dump valves making noise

because people didnt relise it was a spec c?
the spec c is designed to look like a bog standerd car, and yours not being the standerd blue with gold wheels is bound to put people off the scent
the impreza is always going to be a sports car/boy racers type car, if it wasnt, subaru would end up going bust because they didnt sell as many

What was that woman doing revving the Scoob near the stalls, for around half an hour? Clearly quite mad and should have been stopped, whoever she was
I not slagging thses people off but if they read this thread would you enlighten us all in to why it was going on for such a long time??????

There were 4 Spec C's there (if you count the S202 as a Spec C which it is really), one at Grade A's stand with the body kit one, mine at the LADS stand and one other out in the crowd somewhere (2 blobeye, 2 bugeye).

My mate fromage who has only been into scoobies 5 months picked them all out. And took photo's.
He knows the score, spotted the spec c's miles off.
We made the trip from Essex, we are hardcore

Theres always at least one tit.
At Scooby shootout there was an idiot with is ALS going off while everyone was try to watch the rally car doing dohnuts and stuff - made himself look a right *****, but these people are oblivious to it, thick as f*ck and think that because everyone is turning and looking that they are impressed! (what made it even more laughable was the fact the ALS sounded more like a back fireing montego! )

SPEC-C stand 2005 ?
One success this year was the introduction of some of the club stands such as cumbrian/TTS the LADS and CWs South mancs group and of course the RB5 club stand .
This is an area we are looking to develop for next year.
I have just came off the phone to Lightwater and we are allready booked in for
Sunday 12th June 2005 for the
NBO 3 #####
Prehaps next year Tony you could get your excluisve cars together so the non-hardcore scooby followers could apreciate. them together .
As my life returns to normal (untill my next vision/daft idea) i feel feed back like this is important for the planning for next years event.
As far as idiots are concerned generally im sure you would all agree that 1% of the country are idiots/the lift doesn,t go to the top floor/the lights on but no bulb and in 460 cars in atendance we had 4 of them (still under the 1% country average) with 2 doing Donuts, 1 reving the car engine and the thickest of them all who stole ONE of my new gold valve caps of my own car and LEFT the OTHER THREE
DUH !!!!!!
but they are back at school today
keep up the feedback so my team can make the NBO 3 which is the Biggest show for scoobys in the country now the best yet !!
and thank you all for the donations and we raised over
£3015 for Cancer Research .

Track Day Organiser
400 people in a park raising some good money for Charity
Why does everybody need to know every single make of car
Enthusiast Yes they came to an event, from all over the country, organised for them and meet and made friends
Some people like to know the ins and outs of a ducks **** [ yep I am one ] but please don't knock those people who just enjoy their car and wanted a good day out
Lord Hardings Team obviously did a great job which is a credit to them
Perhaps next year you will need to pass an exam to enter the park

the S202 was, I think, my favourite scoob of the day. I spent most of my day looking for the rare/unusual amongst the 400 imprezas on site. Its amazing (to an enthusiast ) the variety that turned up on the day. But someone didn't know what a 22B was? I would have said the 22B would have been one of the easier versions to spot amongst the various sti's and limited editions.....

revving engine
Well just a little point. We (the midlands massive) fitted three dump valves and a new vortex backbox to three of our cars. ( Thanks to Andy!!)Firstly wanted to make sure they were working and secondly wanted to hear them as when you fit something new to your motor you wanna play with it? Perhaps we werent the only ones? On the wasting fuel issue I doubt many of us our that concious of fuel wastage as have you seen the cost of Optimax. Scoobies dont exactly do 600 miles on a tanks now do they?
Rant reply over. Normal service will now be resumed . Lighten up people it was a great day and weather was fab. Quit moaning about it as maybe those peeps you were moaning about may not come again and then there will be "even less" scoobs there next year!!
