....to get their car bling'd up for the NBO this sunday

Set aside yesterday for the job, forcast was OK, but not brilliant. Got everything out ready for 7am start so I could wax before the midday sun got too hot. Rain on and off all morning. Lunchtime the sun came out and the paint was like a frying pan. By evening I was so pi55ed off I couldn't be bothered.

Woke up this morning at 5.30 (not deliberately ) and saw lovely skys and a fresh covering of dew on the car. Perfect By 6am I was happily washing away and by breakfast at 7 it was all leathered off and ready Looks out whilst eating brekkie, drizzle
Settled for doing the CD2 engine cleaner stuff for now and will see what it's like after lunch

I must get a big garage at my next house.

 

yep same idea here already to go this am and rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Mine is still in the body shop... after the AA wrecked my front spoiler....
Its being valetted on sat afternoon after the repairs are completed.
Last minute stuff.... But I`ve got to make sure my scooby looks its best for the NBO.

paid for mine valeting yesterday (as ive got a bad back at the moment) just my luck on the way home started raining, and in peter kays words- "fine rain that soaks you through!!)

going in this afternoon for new exhaust fitting,

should be ready for sunday -hopefully!

 

Well, I've got her 70% waxed. Dodging in & out between light showers , doing a panel at a time Just bumpers and passenger side doors to do, maybe tomorrow morning. Before it rains in the afternoon

Outlook for sunday looks good though

 

could always pick up a box of 'car wash wipes' from halfords, or some quick detailing spray by meguiars, then do a quick once over when you get there, just to move any dust/blobs etc.

 

Just Finished mine and put her to bed

I booked the day off work for the task, 6 hours later the results are worth it

Mine looks like it's done the Paris-Dakar (as always)... and I aint going to get much chance to get the hose out.......still, at least mine'll stand out amongst all the shiny ones!

i decided to fit air con last night, and the pipes wont fit the rad, so at the moment my car is off the road, until I can get some more pipes, or a rad that fits

So unsure if I am going now, cant be bothered cleaning the car till its sorted, but its reletively clean anyway and in the garage, so dont matter if it rains or not

 

air con i hardly get many miles to the gallon as it is if i put my aircon on i'll be getting about 15 miles to the gallon damned 02 sensor

 

Burger van are we allowed one of them or have u struck a charity deal....

Hi Jasoon. Not coming up. I'm doon south, 2nd baby due at the end of June, so I'm not going anywhere fun at the moment.

Hopefully I'll be able to start making meets from late July-ish. Hope to do a Northern one too, although its a bit out of my way (they sound the place to be

Started 9:15 am,9:20 big bloody shower ahh finished at 1:00pm and its raining again TYPICAL where's the ordered weather JOHN.LOL

panic is on now as its raining half way through polishing with 2 hungover mates !!

i only ordered weater for sunday due to high costs of moving sunshine from spain to the UK .
