I am so angry.

We were told that the scooby i have just bought was goin for its SVA last wed, and we would be getting the car tomorrow.

I ring the dealer today to ask what time we should go and pick the car up.

They promptly start with the excusses, it went for it sva prep on wed and, has not been book in for the actually sva yet. Then it needs its MOT done and the extras put back on the car, and have the alarm we bought installed.

We bought the car on 21 May and told we would have it in two weeks, now its gonna be alteast another week.

I will be paying for the finance before i even have the car!

Is there anything I can do or should i just put up and shut up?

i am soooooo mad, now i will miss the NBO.

I bought my first impreza from a guy advertising on auto trader. I simply didnt realise that it had only just come off the boat when i viewed and put my deposit on it. I had to wait over a month before i could pick it up!
But dont worry, you will still be smiling a lot when the day finally arrives!

Thing is though its a birthday prezzie so when i got up on thurs morning i would and be able to go and polish my new scooby.

They promised it would only take two weeks, they had it a while b4 i bought it. BOOO HOOOO lol im sad.

This comment is slightly worrying, if they are doing its 'MOT & then putting it's 'extras' back on the car' this could mean it's not even road legal, what extra's are they putting back on the car? will you need to take them off again for it's next MOT?

Don't pay them a penny til you have the car! you shouldn't have to pay for the finance if they hold a deposit from you?

i'm trying to get down in my other car (escort), but hubbys winging about it, saying we will look stupid in it.

Been on the phone to the dealer and app car is booked in for sva on fri and i should get it about a week later.

Scoobess: I said that wrong, for its SVA they had to take the after sales stuff off it, then put it all back on before its MOT. But thanks for the warning hun.

Oh and i got a loan for the car through the dealer, so i have to pay it where i actually get the car or not, the cheque from teh loan co was made to the dealer so not much i can do.

I have not give the dealer teh chuque yet and there not getting it till i have the car keys in my possesion.

Well atlast some good news, my car has been put in for its SVA today, hope it passes.

Not no more though, car failed its SVA and app they have the parts to use on another car, should i be worrying cos i am.

But its passed its MOT.
