If you can afford it and your pride and joy means a lot to you then go for an electronic boost controller as they are far more accurate and reliable, dawes device will do the trick but will need constant adjustment for various changes in weather and driving styles. Once you have shelled out for the dawes you will need a boost guage as well, you get both these built into the electronic ones.

Try something like an apexi, blitz or hks, i picked mine up on ebay for 200 quid and can set any level of boost whilst driving. you should be able to set your dawes if you go down that route at round 1.1 bar, anymore and you will get fuel cut, power with a decat and induction should be around the 250 - 260 mark.
