Tints on JDM

Tints on JDM
Hi,
Might sound a daft question but...are the tints on the rear windows on a MY04 JDM just a film and can therefore probably be removed or is there more to it - ie coloured glass or summit?

Film on my MY01 JDM STI. If you look at the top edge of the rear door window with the door open it is possible to see a very small rim of standard glass where the film does not go right up to the edge.

Nathan - I know you've replied to a couple of threads on this - much appreciated.
Think I'm gonna want them removed - found a place called Tint Wizard in Liverpool who I might try.
If anybody's used them feedback would be appreciated.
