Default WRX PPP dimensions

afternoon all....

oooo so near to this car - order Sunday ...

However, can someone confirm this for me please.

Current car is a MG ZR ....

The total width (i.e from tip of wing mirrors) is 1930 mm (the actual width (outer wheel to outer wheel is 1690).

Now according to the subaru site and booklet, they quote 'overall' width as 1740 ?? Does this really include wing mirrors ?

I know they are not 'that' different but would have thought the scooby must be wider by some degree ?

Just wanting to ensure it will fit in the garage ,,,,

Any help or confrimation would be very helpful !

thanks

Mark

p.s. this is a MY04 4 door car

Wink

192 cm from mirror tips, give or take a few mm, with my dodgy eyes.
Hope this helps, mine fits into my small pre-fab garage easy enough.

Cheers Deano.

BTW for those interested in insurance...

Wife 30 (4Y NCB)
Me (34)
Reading Area
WRX PPP with prodrive spoiler
Any other mods accepted - other then physical engine upgrade (I have checked this again to)
850 (protected NCB !!)

I am happy with that considering what the car can do (it was L&V)

You will love it mate, just coming up to my first year in a scooby, standard my03 wrx apart from a Hayward and Scott back box, watch out for the big grin factor, from another 35yr old big kid.

Cheers Deano.

Lol, the 1740 dimension is the maximum width of the car itself (across the wheelarches I'd imagine), so it is a couple of inches wider than your MG. Lucky though that the Subaru's wingmirrors aren't quite as "sticky out" as your current ones!
