I know i probably shouldnt but ive been looking on ebay at Scoobies!

And found this:

Looks like a nice, still a few days to go though and a bit of interest there, so it could go quite a bit higher.

I take the point about the gearbox, at least it has a relatively new box, but how did he bust the old one? (side stepping the clutch maybe!!) Its had a few tweeks so I would have thought the power has been upped in order to use it. Not many of us up the power to drive like the local vicar

when you look at the bid history why would someone bid against themselves 5 times in a row????????????

I think you get that appearance beacuse of ebay proxy bidding.

i.e. current bid is £10 - you place bid with max of £50

You appear to have bid £11 (to beat current bid).

later someone else bids max £20. Because this is below your max - your bid is increased to £21. The £20 never appears in the bid history - because at no point was it ever the actual highest possible bid - and you appear to have bid £11 then £21 against yourself.

Just to add to that...

He may need to up his max bid everytime cos the reserve hasnt been met...
he may really be prepared to pay £10k but doesnt want to commit to that unless he really has to. IMO
