Default Help Next doors dog scratched my car

The neighbours dog was running loose at the weekend and ran in my drive - when the little kid from next doors picked it up it was kicking like hell and put a 8inch deep scratch across my bumper.........gutted.
What the best thing to try and get it out - or is it a respray job???????
Part of it looks like it might polish out but the end of it has gone to white.

If I had any complaint about Subarus this would be it - the paint is so soft! (one the 01 anyway)

I would have a word with the dogs owner first.

You could try filling the scratch with some paint using a cocktail stick, it takes quite a bit of time and a steady hand ,or if not why not try one of the companies out there like 'chips away' who should be able to sort it

i think i remember reading something about dog owners being responsible for any damage their dog might cause....i'd have a word with them about it before spending any money yourself.

ps - cat owner's aren't responsible for any damage they cause so it's safer to get a cat!

Dont all dogs have insurance ? All the Owners I know have quite high cover for what their dog might do.
