Help needed with Sigma M30 and Locking
Hi guys
I have my motor in bits at the moment.
It's a 96 'r' reg impreza sport with a Sigma m30 on it which has not been connected up to the locking.
I have been told that I needs a motor in the drivers door and the connecting to the alarm. I have found the coloured cables from the alarm that control the locking but need help on how to do it.
Please help as soon as you can......
Shane

Shane,
Are you saying you wish to convert your central locking to remote operation ? I'm not sure what a 97 sport comes with as standard.
Are you sure you don't already have a motor in the drivers door ?, you can check by locking the doors and unlocking via the passenger door, if the drivers door unlocks then you have a motor in there.

When you say "doors don't lock or unlock" , It sounds like you don't have central locking at all.
You will need a motor (solenoid) fitted to each door and a control unit that will interface to the output of the Sigma alarm. The output triggers do vary for each alarm, you may be better off going to a professional alarm installer who will advise what you need.
