Smile Performance Carbon FMIC

Recently had a fmic fitted to my 98 prodrive. The kit seems really good very light and easy to fit. No cutting of the bumper etc. In higher gears the car now pulls a lot better. Looks good to can see some carbon and some of the samco hoses through the vent too

ive seen the kits, the pipework looks really crappy IMO

to many joins and samco pipes which wont help flow
any factual gains like before and after RR printouts?

Still waiting on some other parts before setting up on rolling road. All the joins will not affect the performance of the kit much. The only draw back would be air leaks tricky to find but apart from that dont see any others. All the pipe work is good quality and been tested by samco dont think they would put their name to it if it was crap.

I think "tested by samco" is not entirely correct. Samco make carbon hose joiners and silicon bends. The kit appears to consist of lots of off the shelf bends and joiners and a small intercooler. In fact I would guess the pipework cost more than the intercooler itself.

If he is I daresay Prodrive would take vigorous exception to their name being associated with this product without prior agreement.

no just letting you know. the carbon pipes used on the kit are the same as the ones made for samco as they have a contract with them 4 the carbon pipes. No im not selling just thought some people might be intrested as its not all that expensive, and its easy to fit thats all
