Red face clutch problem

i have a leak and i need to replace the rear main seal and also the 2 rocker cover gaskets, i have been told that if the rear main seal is leaking oil on to the cluthch that is why it is slipping so need to get that fix and the 2 rocker cover gaskets is no problem just keep an eye on the levels and does not have any effect on the cluthch. IS THIS TRUE OR BULLS***E....need quick response plzzzzzzzz

Thumbs up

The rockers are not a big prob, but you will have to get them done.

I had a back seal go on mine, had to have it replaced.Either way your cluch is knackered so i would get it done.

If you not sure about the garage take else where for a second opinion.

Smile REPLACE IT

I WOULD SAY THAT YES THE CLUTCH DOES NEED REPLACING ONCE IT HAS BEEN IN CONTACT WITH OIL. YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE BOX OUT ANYWAY TO REPLACE THE SEAL SO I WOULD REPLACE THE CLUTCH AS A MATTER OF COURSE
