Post Car and engine indentities

A while back I was pointed to a web site / home page which had quite a comprehensive listing regarding the engine and gearbox types fitted in most of the Imports and Uk Imprezas.

It was the guys home page and had been laboriously constructed and was invaluable to an engine business such as ours.

Can anybody tell me the site address or send me a link, I'd be most grateful. Somehow we have managed to lose the link off our own data pages.

Thanks in advance.

Ken, That's a great list well done!, really helpful to someone like us.

Do you have any way of finding out what the suffix letters after the engine type mean I.E. EJ20K DW1PR

They are on the bar codes attached to the front plastic covers and on the rear of the nearside cylinder head. Obviously also on the chassis plate. Prodrive know what they mean but won't let on, despite me being on reasonably good terms with them. UK dealers haven't got a clue.

Do you want the coffee by parcel post or recorded delivery ?? I'm not really certain that it'll get there intact with the current disruption in the mail world !! Perhaps we'll carry forward a nominal credit to be used as you wish whenever you call the favour. Perhaps you might make one of the Subaru meetings where I will be ?? Ripon - Northern big one maybe?

If I can help with more info l'd be glad to as we have about 4 or 5 cars in here every week and can collect the data as we see it to add to your list.

Good luck and kind regards David
