Default down pipe

i have at the moment a de-cat centre,ninja backbox on a my00 turbo,the car is loud enough now for me by adding a de-cat down will it become more loader and will the inside boom increase which i don't want,what power increase will i get from the down pipe thank's for all reply's

hi,

it will be louder, you'll also hear the turbo spinning up more.

power gain for full decat is between 15-20 bhp but you'll find more torque throughout the rev range with the turbo spinning up faster, ie lower revs.

do it, i'm glad i did.

my problem is the boss hate's how loud it is now and i have children to think about will lagging help and will it be a lot louder, i don't mind if it is hardly noticeable

its quite a bit louder, my neighbours think so, see my thread a bit down the page from here.

ps does anyone know if you can get a bung for a magnex 4x6 oval bb?
