just my opinion but 19" will totaly destroy the handling i would go with 18" as a compromise

I've got 8x19's with 215/35/19's on .

no spacers needed or arch mods.

I'm running std sti5 suspension.

I was really surprised at the handling, it's not too harsh and doesn't really suffer from tramlining at all. The only thing that puts me off is the price of replacement tyres - so i've kept my old 17's for track days

I`ve got Bk299 18 inc with 215/35 tyres abd had to get my arches modified apparently it all depends on the wheel offset as to wether they fit or not.

Just to some things up. If your going to put 19's on a classic you'll DEF need to get the rear arches rolled. Maybe not so much the fronts but the rears are a must.

Currently goin through this mod and decided to get the fronts done just incase. (eg. coilovers)

18's : Wouldn't bother with any arch mods, ran my 18's with no probs at all..lowered with eibachs btw.
