Mine was in for a service, heard the sound off down the road and thought "that sounds fantastic" looked out of the showroom to see my car being driven off by the chief mechanic on its road test....ah ha so that's what it really sounds like

Also passed my mate in his T5, said the only thing he liked the sound of better was a TVR

Not yet but might make her give it a good hammering. Altho saying that ehr little legs wont reach the floor. LOL and before you say anything I will deny everything mate. Mind when me and Martin went through the tunnels at the junction of the M1 and M62 on the way to Well Lane they sounded amazing in third accelerating hard together. I think the Tunnels are still vibrating LOL.

As my 12 yr old daughter would say "Whatever"
I never said I was good at grammer LOL.

The whole thread was meant to highlight the difference in sound, from inside the car, to what you persieved (sp), the sound on the outside would be.!!

(that was a big word)

I agree with first poster. I didnt realise how loud untill I was stood next to a few cars on the rolling road. Looked about and saw the old ear muffs and wondered what they were for. Then the noise hit me. Loud is not the word for it, I dont think that most stereos would be able to cope if the soundproofing of the car was removed

Hi Mate. Dont worry about spelling guess thats the bloke your wife upset about the exhaust noise LOL. It is surprising how loud these Impreza`s can get.

Thought I would post the first picture of how loud my Impreza looks. Hope you dont mind Paul.
