heat shields?
just a quick one 
I am going to replace the centre sections on my 01 wrx with hayward & scott items, should i be trying to refit the heat shields or junk them?

Why would you need to take the heatsheild off to swap the centre section?
Having said that - i'm not familiar with the underside of an MY01
However, i'm sure the heatshield was put on in the first place for a reason

The heat sheilds surround the original centre pipes and are not fixed to the underside of the car
sorry should have said this.
