Default I've got my STi :)

I picked up my MY03 STi this afternoon at 5pm

The first thing I did was fill it up with Optimax.

It's a '53 Plate Impreza STi Type UK
8,400 miles

I'm really pleased with it.

I traded in a '53 plate Civic Type-R

I love my new scooby

Cool Spanking!!!

It's absolutely spanking m8, I would say 'hope you enjoy it!' if I didn't already know:
a) you're constantly grinning like an idiot,
b) looking out of your window when you hear someone outside your house,
c) making excuses like 'I'll just go get a pint of milk!' so you can sit in it and
d) you're walking backwards looking at it, listening to it pinging as it cools down.

Thanks mate

a) Yep still grinning
b) I dug my Disklok out of my wardrobe and it's giving me a bit less worry.
c) I went out on three pointless errands and opted for the 30 mile route
d) I walked round it 3 times listening to the various noises as it cooled down

Roll on the morning and I can dream up some more excuses to go for a drive.

Real nice car m8.
I traded in my CTR last year and bought a 53 plate sti UK in the same colour, in fact this is very spooky.

Enjoy...best car I've EVER had and that's a fact.

Steve,

I can only echo the sentiments expressed here. You will really appreciate what this car is capable of when you have had it for a while. Word of warning though, be careful in the wet. While grip is superb you will regret booting it while still in a tight bend. It's slow in, fast out, if you get my drift.

In the dry.....

Enjoy your car, and all the best to you.

The CTR was excellent. I had a few warranty issues and Honda's customer service was sh*t. I was made to feel in the wrong for having problems with my car. I had to argue with them in order to get repairs done.
